This page is designed for in-app display and app store review links. If future features change how information is handled or how the service works, we will update the version number and date shown here.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Picks mobile application and related support communication provided by Hangzhou Zhenxu Technology Co., Ltd. under the Zhenxu Dev brand.

It describes the current information handling practices of the version that primarily stores user data locally on the device and allows optional user-configured WebDAV backup.

2. Information We Currently Process

In the current release, Picks is designed so that time records, notes, tags, settings, and similar app content are mainly stored on the user's device.

  • Records and content you create inside the app, such as time entries, labels, notes, and preferences.
  • WebDAV server address, account name, password, and related backup configuration only if you choose to configure backup manually.
  • Information you voluntarily send to us when contacting support, such as your email address and the contents of your message.

3. Local Storage

Picks currently does not require you to create an account to use its core features. Your data is primarily stored locally on your own device.

If you delete the app, clear its local storage, reset your device, or otherwise remove the app data, your local records may be permanently deleted unless you have made your own backup.

4. WebDAV Backup

Picks currently supports optional backup through a WebDAV service chosen and configured by the user. This feature is intended to let you manage your own backup destination rather than uploading data to a developer-operated cloud by default.

  • WebDAV credentials are stored locally on your device based on your own configuration.
  • Your backup data is transmitted to and stored on the WebDAV service provider you choose.
  • Your use of a third-party WebDAV service is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.

We recommend that you carefully evaluate the security of any WebDAV service you select, because backup availability and protection depend in part on that service and your own account security.

5. How We Use Information

  • To provide the app's local recording, viewing, and management features.
  • To execute backup or restore actions that you initiate through your own WebDAV configuration.
  • To respond to support requests, bug reports, and feedback that you send to us voluntarily.
  • To maintain, improve, and secure the app.

6. Permissions and Device Access

Picks will only request device permissions that are reasonably necessary for the features made available in a given version.

If a future feature requires additional permissions or access to device capabilities, we will provide notice in the app, the app store listing, or an updated Privacy Policy before or when that feature becomes available.

7. Current Third-Party Services

As of this version, Picks does not intentionally integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, third-party login SDKs, or crash reporting SDKs in normal operation.

Distribution platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play may independently process information under their own policies when you download, install, or purchase digital goods through their services.

8. Future Accounts, Cloud Sync, Purchases, and Diagnostics

Picks may later introduce optional paid cloud sync, account systems, Apple sign-in, Google sign-in, WeChat sign-in, Apple in-app purchases, Google Play billing, crash diagnostics, or similar capabilities.

If those features are launched, we will update this Privacy Policy and the relevant app store disclosures to explain what additional data is collected, why it is processed, which service providers are involved, and what choices users have.

9. Retention and Deletion

Because the current version primarily stores data locally, the retention period of most app content depends on your own device and backup choices.

  • Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear the app storage.
  • WebDAV backup files remain on the storage service you selected until you or that provider delete them.
  • Support emails or related records may be retained for a reasonable period to handle your request, improve support quality, and maintain business records.

If a future version introduces accounts or developer-operated cloud sync, we will add account deletion and data deletion information to this policy when those features become available.

10. Children's Privacy

Picks is not directed to children under the age threshold defined by applicable law. We do not knowingly design the current release to collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support or another direct channel, please contact us so that we can review and handle the issue appropriately.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational updates.

When we make substantive changes, we will update the version number and the last updated date shown on this page.
